Lyn's Lingerie is registered with the Ministry of Health (MoH) to provide exceptional breast care to woman who have undergone a partial or full mastectomy. Ministry of Health grants a subsidy of $613.33 inc GST per side for a four year cycle. If bilateral the subsidy is $1,226.66. Depending on the type of prosthesis purchased, the subsidy will cover the prosthetic and bra(s). If you are over the subsidy allowance you must pay the remaining balance. Any unused balance by the end of the fourth year is cancelled and another four-year subsidy will renew.

 

Lyn's Lingerie is more than happy to submit claims to the MoH on your behalf. However if you wish to do this yourself, payment must be made to us first. The MoH will reimburse you 20 working days after receiving a valid claim. 

 

If you are a first time customer, we do request a copy of your Medical Certificate for initial claims. We send this off to MoH along with the claim form and proof of purchase.

We kindly request, if you are wanting a prosthesis fitting, to please call and book an appointment. Appointment times vary between 30 to 60 minutes long.
